Slime (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the Slime mobile application. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information.
Information We Collect
When you use Slime, we may collect:
- Account information — Your email address and display name used to create and manage your account.
- Conversation data — Messages and voice inputs you send to your AI assistant, which are processed to provide the service.
- Memory data — Information you ask Slime to remember (preferences, facts, reminders) stored to personalize your experience.
- Usage data — Anonymous analytics about how you interact with the app, collected via PostHog to help us improve the product.
- Device information — Basic device identifiers and OS version for troubleshooting and compatibility.
How We Use Your Information
- To provide, maintain, and improve the Slime service
- To personalize your AI assistant experience
- To process your subscription and manage your account
- To send important service-related communications
- To monitor and analyze usage trends
Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure provided by Supabase and Cloudflare. We use encryption in transit (TLS) for all data transfers. Conversation and memory data are associated with your account and are not shared with other users.
Third-Party AI Services & Data Sharing
Slime uses third-party AI services to generate assistant responses. When you send a message, the following data may be transmitted to these providers:
- Your message content and conversation context
- Calendar events, reminders, contacts, or email content that you ask the assistant to work with
- Memory data relevant to your request
Who receives this data:
- Google (Gemini API) — Provides AI model processing. Data is encrypted in transit and is not used to train AI models via our API usage.
Google maintains privacy and security practices that provide equal or greater protection for your data. Your data is sent only to generate responses and is not sold or shared for advertising purposes. You are asked to explicitly consent to this data sharing during onboarding before any data is sent.
Other Third-Party Services
- Supabase — Authentication and database hosting
- Cloudflare — Application hosting and edge computing
- PostHog — Anonymous product analytics
- Apple — In-app purchase and subscription management
These services have their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review them.
Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Export your data in a portable format

Children’s Privacy
Slime is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete it promptly.
